Pt Pleasant is a great shore town to meet up in. Its centrally located off the parkway exit 98 where I195 ends. Just get on 34 and go until it turns into 35. Takes you right into point pleasant beach.

I like LBI as well... it provides a laid back atmosphere with some great places to just relax and have a few drinks and something to eat.
