Seamaster Pro Rubber Strap

Anyone know where to find the SMP rubber strap that goes with the deployant clasp? Not tang a buckle.

Seamaster Pro Rubber Strap

I usually call my local Swatch centre and I can get the pricing and stock info.

That sounds like the price for strap and deployant.

I was thinking so as well, but wasn't sure if I was out of touch with current Omega strap prices.

Ugh. Thanks for making the call and saving me the dime, not to mention the $500. WOW!

I highly recommend you get it…makes the watch more enjoyable. It’s very comfortable, cleans up the band (no large openings for the tang, no overhanging strap) and adds a level of security when strapping the watch on.

I still have the bracelet on my SMP300M but I can say the deployant clasp on my De Ville is outstanding. I replaced the leather croc with an Artem sailcloth and kept the OEM clasp. It's superb.

I currently have the rubber with tang/buckle on my SMP 300 and my prob is I’m between hole settings on the strap fit. So it’s either too big or too tight. Any feedback on the deployant clasp rubber addressing this issue, if it does I’ll splurge for the $500 and try to sell my tang/buckle

The OEM deployant straps have the same limitation. They also have holes so if you happen to be in between you'll be out of luck.

I picked up the deployant strap and luckily had an older Speedmaster deployant clasp that is 18mm and fits perfectly. I was surprised to learn that both rubber straps come in 2 sizes. Standard and a smaller one. I picked the smaller one and it fits amazing. Try both sizes of strap to see what fits best.

What size is your wrist? Mine is 6.5 inch, do u think that's a small or standard strap?

My wrist is 6.75. This is the smaller of the 2 strap options available. I think you will be fine with 6.5 and the smaller strap.

I had the same issue with the tang. The deployment does fix this, despite what others have stated. It fits differently with the deployment clasp for some reason, and I am no longer between tang clasp settings like before.

Good luck.

The fit is different because the on the tang, the bulk fits on the outside on top of the strap. The deployant has the bulk fit under against the wrist. Not sure if my explanation makes sense but that's why it's different.

I have the factory black rubber tang buckle, is the strap itself different for the deployant?

Yes, it's a different strap. The tang and deployant aren't interchangeable on the same strap.

I have the 50th Anniversary Seamaster GMT on the strap and it's so good that I have no plans to switch to the steel. Hope you can find a reasonable one.

Thanks for the additional photos Zach! That's an awesome strap and deployant.
