Fake Rolex 5512 emulated gilt dial with 1520 movement... only $1850
The dial is gold printed, not gilt. It is a COSC 4 line dial, so it must be for the 5512. The 5513 was never COSC certified. No 1520 movement was COSC certified. No 5512 should ever have a 1520 movement. Beware this is out there! I'm not mistaken with these assertions am I? I'm pretty clear that the 5512 had the 1530 and 1560 movements in it only. If I'm wrong about any of this, let me know. I'm happy to acknowledge errors. I hope this helps save somebody some $$$. Oh and check out the hands... Notice anything weird?

Well, it says in the ad that the dial is reprinted and the hand is aftermarket.

the ad is highly contradictory. "All original" but indicates "aftermarket" and "refinished."

I think "re-printed" dials like this are counterfeits. There are too many of them coming out of the far east at prices that are far too low to be anything other than fake. |
