It seemed as though they genuinely wanted the watches to go to someone who would actually wear it instead of them being anti-flipping because they are mad about someone else selling for market price when they have to sell for retail.

Im actually pretty surprised they didn't sit on them for 2 weeks instead of moving them out the door now. They gave up some extra margin as obviously they were delivered under the old prices and they could have waited and sold them at the new prices. That of course assumes dealer cost changes at the same time retail prices do.
Valid points but would say they value your business so in the long run will be in their favour.
But have seen a few dealers pull or sit on stock around price rises/Basel to get the extra margin.

Is the coming 5712 price increase only in the UK or worldwide?

The early sale to you is to their credit.

Im done for the foreseeable future... i know i always say that, but the collection is perfect at this point and my strap to bracelet ratio is now 1:1. That was the problem, as i got too strap heavy.

Like how you justify it to yourself

What about the material ratio? Surely more RG is now needed

Besides a 15202 which i think i prefer in SS as I'm not convinced i can pull off the full RG with a bracelet, my wishlist is pretty empty at the moment... unless we are talking platinum in which case that would be the Datograph. Thats a long, long, long way out though

Congrats! It's the only watch I regret selling several years ago. Nice contrast from your APs!

That was a regret of mine as well. I rectified that a few months ago and went for round 2 and couldn't be happier.

Congrats again to the OP! This watch seems to be of big interest lately.
