FS: Rolex MkVI 1680 Red Submariner
For sale here is my Rolex 1680 Red Submariner. I hate to let this one go, but I’m paring back the collection at the moment and going grail hunting.
As you can see from the photos, the watch is in great condition. Original Mk VI dial, original matching hands with light eggshell patina, open 6 and 9 date wheel. The bezel is quite stunning and has evenly faded to a grey/ghost hue, but retains a nice matte finish. The case is in nice condition, it has been lightly polished in the past but lugs remain thick and even. Reference numbers are crisp. The watch is a 3.8mil serial production. I bought a NOS Rolex T39 dome and had it installed, but still have the original top hat if you prefer to switch it back. The bracelet is original rivet style bracelet with very minimal stretch, links are nice and tight. Specs: Rolex Submariner 1680 Automatic Cal 1570 movement Date function Plexi Crystal Size: 40mm Sold with watch only, no box or papers. No documented service history but the watch runs great.
