Rolex Daytona 6263/6265 Caseback CRS Question

Hello esteemed vintage Rolex forum members, I would appreciate your insights on late 1970's (1978 to 1980) Rolex Daytona 6263 and 6265 casebacks marked with CRS. I've seen some marked as "CRS" and others marked with "C.R.S" (with periods). Please let me know if one is correct and the other is NOT?

Appreciate it!

All the case-backs I’ve seen on 6.xx mil range 6263/6265’s including mine seem to have C.R.S., but I’m not sure if some original genuine 6 mils don’t.

Both CRS and C.R.S exist, as well as without the CRS but not sure about the time frame. I would focus more on the 'PATENTED' stamped for your period.

CRS has been the case manufacturer. Its Charles Renee Spielman who produced in a specific frame those backs.
As far as I know the version without dots is older and the c.r.s is the later, second version.

Yes, correct. Here's the back/movement from my 6.0 million 6263, with "C.R.S."
