Bracelet length in 2 different configs

I have a quick question if anyone is able to measure or properly calculate this exactly. Say on a current GMT, I have 5 links on the 6:00 side, with the inside clasp adjustment set to the innermost/smallest of the 3 settings and with EZ link closed. Now, compare this to having 4 links on the same side but with the inside clasp adjustment set to the outermost/largest of the 3 settings and with EZ link open. Does the former or latter of the above settings yield the slightly smaller bracelet size?

Thanks in advance!
