Sub question
I noticed that the newer subs have Rolex and serial no. inscribed on the inside chrome ring in between the dial and saphire crystal. My question is...When did they start doing this? I ask because i have notice some with no inscription at all.

It was from 2004 Serial F/D case date stamp on some models the Rolex Rolex Rolex plus serial appeared on the Rehaut ring.
