Patek 5167a Aquanaut, perfect for any occasion!

I just came back from a beach wedding in Cancun Mexico. I adhere to a 1 watch policy when traveling abroad.

The Patek 5167a was the watch I picked for this trip.

A few things make it the IDEAL travel watch for me. Light as a feather, it virtually disappears on your wrist.

Perfect for:

"Otro Cerveza"

OR pushing a stroller through the Hotel Zone:

Or carrying my 5month old around

Stealthy and not "obnoxious" in attracting attention.

Only stares I caught were from WIS and who KNEW what they were looking at.

It can Dress UP (literally, I was trying out my outfit for the wedding, before our trip)

Or Dress DOWN:

(No I was not playing pocket billiards)

Out for a dinner

Or exploring Chichen Itza

Its PERFECT for any occasion.

Patek owners - do you treat your Patek differently than your Rolex or Breitling? R & B are watches you can wear every day, and will withstand the concerns and usage of everyday life. Same with the Pateks?? Are service costs and intervals similar to Rolex?

I own two Calatrava's, one vintage, one modern. I wear one of them almost every day and have no worries about them. I obviously won't wear them at the beach or in the pool but that's about it.

Service costs for a simple Patek are not much more more than a Rolex or Breitling and the intervals are the same.

Couldn't agree more! Great watch, great Patek, just for connoisseurs.

I believe that a watch should be worn and my 5205G is no different, even if I do work in law enforcement.

And the 5167 is a great piece that can be worn in all eventualities
