This example is most easily identified as a watch to avoid. Insert is fake, dial looks wrong, endlinks look aftermarket, etc.

It's always fun to judge this stuff with low-res photos. No one ever posts clear shots of bad watches.

Still looks like a bunch of aftermarket parts. The crystal doesn't look correct at all.

Who knows what's inside. The outside is only part of the story.

Avoid.

By looking at it.

Who is the seller?
What is the price of this "thing"?

Well, it does say ROLEX on the dial. That's gotta count for something.

It's your money but you're in for a hurting if you buy it. The bezel isn't the only aftermarket part on that watch. No telling what's inside for replacement parts.

Good luck. We tried.

TRF is a Forum for the discussion of Rolex watches. If you, or anybody, wants to discuss replicas, there are plenty of sites around on the subject. Such discussions usually degrade to non-productive rants.

The insert is fake, the dial is a replacement; the seller is being dishonest and so this example is fatally flawed.

Thanks. I’ve got no interest in discussing the topic. I was just wondering why it was such a big deal. I’m amazed this thread made it 22 posts long.
