SS Blue Watches

Many of us are admirers of blue-dial SS watches. According to certain beliefs, blue calls to mind feelings of calmness or serenity. It is often described as peaceful, tranquil, secure, and orderly.

Below is a listing of some blue watches that I have come across and have left an impression. They are by no means exhaustive, not in any order of significance, not presented to scale; so let's enjoy ~

Nice list. I like rows 1 and 4 the best!

Great post. Funny, they all look, well, essentially the same. Just buy the cheapest one.

The blue on the DJ is great.

IWC Petite Prince range of Pilots make the most stunning sunburst blue. IMHO

How can you miss out on the AP Royal Oak Jumbo 15202? Possibly the nicest blue dial ever imho.

I agree. IWC makes my favorite blue dialed watches.

Couldn't argue against that. Apols for missing that out

I have thought about the 15202 and 15400 before creating this thread. On hindsight, I should have chosen the 15202 as I also like its dial. Apols

PS: The case and bracelet on that Zenith Defy Classic is titanium, not SS.

Blue and SS/WG work really well together, plus it's easier to pronounce on it a sunburst effect than on a black dial, the other popular combo.

Great collection of blue dials. My favorites are the forum favorites (5711, 15202 and dj). However, one of the greatest blues out there IMHO is missed. Here it is

They kind of do, except for the Nautilus, but of course that's the most expensive one...

Love blue dials. The FP Journe CB, Patek Nautilus and AP RO 15202 are my top picks. These will have to do for now.

Very nice blue dials, especially the PAM and CB! Please feel free to add on to the list pieces which I have missed out in the first post.

Don't forget about the Yacht-Master. One of the most mesmerizing dials going.
