:dude: Summer Break @ Chiang Mai

A long waited holiday, time to go for a retreat in the mountain
Not much sightseeing done on this trip. Hope you enjoy the pictures sorry for the picture quality.

Hi Zed,

Ohh you going there december. It will be very cooling.
If you are travelling alot in chiangmai, better get a driver, they cost abt 2000 baht for a day ( petrol you pay). Let me know if you need one, i have some contacts over there.
If you stay in chiangmai town, do visit the pub called 'Pump up'
Very nice place, alot of pretty babes.
Enjoy your trip.

Thank you Anthony... Dave has a house over there and he goes twice a year, i am going with him taking our families... i really do not know where i am staying and where i am going.. he is taking care of everything and it will be Ace...

but i need pointers from you on Singapore.. i am coming over in January for my new assignement to live there for the next few years.. (with Family)... will get in touch i am sure....

Thank you Anthony.. it was all decided when i was on leave.. so a lot more info will come my way in due course.. it will be the Kashagan project... engineering out of singapore.. i will get in touch when i get my head around it... and it will be a pleasure to experience a cooler climate where trees are allowed to grow...... I have been in Qatar for few years now and feel a bit dusty....

I think Ant is also a food lover..... mmm chicken satay followed a very spicy beef salad.

Great pics when where they taken? I see that Doi Suphet it under maintenance or are they just adding a new coat of gold leaf?

Hi Dave,
The picture taken at the resort where i stay, it is further up than the four season hotel.
Found another gd deal at panviman spa resort, 3 day 2 night for 5899 baht, though it is stated for thai resident but the receptionist told me that i can call them up and get that package. Planning another visit in Oct.

There is some construction at the temple seems they are cleaning it up pagoda making it more presentable.
