PAM384 opinions
Hello! First time poster alert.
Have toyed with the idea of buying a Panerai over the past several years and feel more ready now to make a purchase. After seeing a PAM384 at an AD I have found myself pretty much settled on one however opinions are rather sparse online. Does anyone own or have experience of the 384? I would most like buy in the uk, second on my list would be a PAM643. |

The ceramic rads are all great, from the 292 to the 384 to the 643. I personally would go for the 643, as it offers a pure base dial with the interest of the waffle dial, which I find contrasts really nicely with the brushed black ceramic.
Or, the 292 for even more simplicity, if the 643 doesn't do it for you. As for the 384, I think the "fang" power reserve works much better on a Luminor like the 233. Rads really are most special, IMHO, with two hands and 3/6/9/12 on the dial (or the Cali dial, of course). YMMV. Good luck with the choice! |

I have the 643. The black ceramic always looks new. Just insure it against damage/theft and wear it. I’d post pics but don’t have time to set up new imgur account. Screw Photobucket

Ceramic is a cool variation. I have seen several instances of cracks around the wire lugs...it looks new or it cracks! No dings or scratches....cracks. Just be aware of that
