Urgent assistance please

Hi guys iam looking forward to experts opinions about this piece as iam going to buy it very soon if good feedback. How do you think the condition of this watch specifically about polising , do you think its polished before ? The seller confirms that the bezel was touched a bit but the case not polished also he telling me that there is no dings in case. Actually iam booking a flight to buy this piece thus iam in hurry.

Thanks alot

polished yes. The bezel screws look to be above the bezel. might be the angle of the pics though.

I'd pass. That bezel looks over polished and rounded to me - so I'd factor in the cost of a replacement. The grain of the brushed finished looks uneven and not as fine as the AP finish either. I'd be more concerned that somebody other than AP touched it for servicing/refinishing and what else might lurk under the hood.

to me its not good. From the pics at least i don't see any vertical brushing and i see no variation from brushed to polished surfaces. It pretty much looks polished all over.

it has definitely been over polished. it was not done right. most likely from a 3rd party.

the edges of the bezel should be sharp. a lot of metal was removed

Avoid. Suggest they get the next size in gloves too, as those are about to explode.

Pass. I personally won’t touch a polished modern piece. And if you would consider one, I would only be satisfied if it was redone by AP.

Like everyone else is saying, I'd pass as well.

The AP loses its appeal when those screws are sticking out and when the bezel starts to look like it's in the shape of a nautilus! not that I don't like nautilus's, just not when my AP bezel has the shape of one!

Happy hunting!

Asking Price?

1. Over-Polished bezel for sure.
2. Case has most likely been polished as well - angles a bit rounded in pics.
3. I also think this panda was only available on leather hornback or bracelet - Rubber strap as shown would have been an add on.

Cancel flight and wait for a better Panda example.

That watch has not been polished by AP, it looks like the screws sit above the bezel, if I wanted a panda there must be plenty out there from good grey dealers, I’d leave this one well alone

I agree, I seriously doubt that was done by AP.

The whole entire case and bezel polished and worst part is it was not done by AP, badly done based on your photos, hence, my advice is pass! There are many panda in preowned market, no hurry take your time to shop around for a better one.
