Datejust 16030 question ..

Hi all,

My parents gave me this datejust in the late 80s as I was starting university. I wore it pretty much the whole time until 2014 when I bought a submariner. Since then, it’s been less frequent. But, it’s still a very special watch for me.

The jubilee bracelet has a fair bit of stretch now and is probably due for replacement. I was wondering whether I might replace with an oyster for a less bling or alternative look. Does anyone have photos of a similar watch with oyster? It’s hard to imagine how the tapestry dial etc would look with the oyster vs jubilee.

Even if you don’t have photos, I’d appreciate your opinion!

Many thanks all.
