Is this warranty valid?
Hello, I just bought a new and unworn rolex 228238. It was from a seller (not AD) who assured me it is brand new and comes with 5 year rolex warranty. The watch still have stickers, etc on it and does appear brand new. I have attached a copy of the card, which seems ok except that there is something scribbled into the purchaser field. attached is the scan. the name of retailer is on the card, but I crossed out for the scan. Do you think I will be able to obtain warranty service on this since my name is not on the card and it is not blank?
Thank you for your thoughts. Last edited by konkaniman; 7 May 2016 at 01:04 AM.. Reason: scan was off a bit |

Warranty follows the watch, not the purchaser. Should be ok.
Welcome to the forum, and congrats on the purchase. Post a pic of it! |

If it ever needs warranty service, send it to Dallas. NYC will be asking a lot of questions. First one, they'll want to see your bill of sale. Second, if you bought it at an AD, why isn't your name on the card. I'm not saying it right, I'm just saying they will ask.
Congrats on the new piece.

If it has an ad stamp and is dated it's ok
