While I like the BLNR a lot, I would definitely go for the BLRO because it's the classic Rolex GMT color combination, I like the red and extra bit of color on it, and the jubilee bracelet is something different from my other oyster bracelets.

How hard was it to track down the appropriate attachments and bracelet itself? I would love to put a Jubilee on the BLNR. I’ve thought that since I got it from my AD last March.

You know, after I posted that I went and pulled out the SJ to confirm. For sure the clasp style plays a part, but I think the bracelet is polished just a bit more bright.

I would also like to add that in a ocean of oyster bracelets the Jubilee in any variant really stands out. I like having both, good to mix it up.

I only had to pop out one link and good to go. It’s fantastic on the BLNR, I highly recommend that combo. Go for it.

Getting the bracelet was super easy. I callled the AD I bought the BLNR from and he had it in a week. Funny thing, since then I have asked him to order other bracelets, like a Glidelock, and all of a sudden it’s like I’ve asked to punt his dog down the sidewalk. Can’t or won’t do it. I don’t get it.

I own both and there is just no comparison. The Pepsi BLRO not only beats the BLNR but every other watch Rolex has in its current offerings. A total winner.

I'd hands-down get the Pepsi, and not cause it's new or selling at 200% retail. It's because the new movement is f'ing awesome, and I prefer the jubilee bracelet. If the Batman had both those things in it, than it would basically be a toss-up.

BLNR. IMO, it comes down to what one likes cosmetically. For me, red on the bezel doesn't do it (sacrilegious, eh?) For me, maybe it comes down to me liking the solid black?
As a plus, either is a great piece. (Truth be known, I haven't felt how that bracelet wears on the wrist... I do like mine though. Maybe how it feels ON YOU can help you decide?)

Good question! I’m number 1 on my AD’s list for a Pepsi. I’d flip my BLNR to buy the Pepsi. I’m waiting to see a Pepsi in the flesh and will then decide.

I'd go BLRO. In fact I'm going to my local AD tomorrow to inquire about getting one. I've narrowed my next watch to the BLRO or the Hulk. I'll probably get whichever one I can get first.

Like most people I would prefer that the BLRO came on the oyster bracelet, but I still really like the jubilee. It will really be very different than the rest of my collection. Thank you all for sharing so many pictures.

BLNR watch head, jubilee bracelet. But if I can't have that (at least stock from Rolex), I'll always pick the BLNR. I just strongly prefer the colours.

Surely it is BLNR! Much nicer combination between Black and Blue. Wash-out somewhere between ash of roses and faded red colour of BLRO makes me not happy at all. I wish red is like the one applied on aluminium inserts of 16710! Otherwise jubelee is as nice as oyster for me. And last but not least BLNR would be discontinued maximum in 2020! While BLRO will be around for years to come.

New movement pretty much just adds 22 additional hours of power reserve. Not the biggest deal breaker between the two imo but to each its his own

Improved shock absorbers, improved rotor with ceramic bearing, improved barrel and mainspring, improved escapement, a full extra day of power reserve, and a date wheel that clicks hard and solid every night. While the majority of owners likely only care about aesthetics, some actually do care about the engine inside.

I own neither, but if I did it would for sure be the BLRO. I like the BLNR these days, but the newer one they got just right imo.

Although both are more than welcome, I would go for the BLRO, the jubilee makes a bit more different and the movement is nice to have.

The BLRO is the technically superior watch and it also has WAY MORE history, it's a classic Rolex design as is the jubilee which has been worn through the years and it is now a instantly recognizable watch. The blnr doesn't compare to this rich history or have the superior movement that the BLRO offers!

There is a reason why the BLRO seeks for a big premium over the blnr and always will.

The Rolex GMT Pepsi Jubilee.

Why? So that I could sell it, buy the Rolex Batman and still end up with money left over. I'm not a fan of the so-called red and so-called blue ceramic bezel, and the more I see the new watches, the less and less I like the additional Rolex crown at the 30 minute marker.
