UK SS Sports Stock

Given we appear to have rationing on these models. I plan to help out fellow TRF members as and when I see them in an AD!

As of 1705 today Watches of Switzerland Oxford Street had a Deepsea black face in the window.

And saw the new YM with blue in Mapin and Webb in Cambridge. Wish I could have taken it home with me!

Fantastic idea! Has anyone seen a Hulk at an AD recently? I've been looking for one for quite a while now....

Thanks!

Could this be due to the falling value of the £? Have prices gone up there since Brexit caused a depreciation of sterling?

I live in Australia but am visiting the UK soon and wondering about picking up a GMTII BLNR but it sounds like that might be hard to find!

Well we managed to save Marmite from the price risers, so let's try to save the sports Rolex from extinction too! Altho a price rise will help supply most.

##Rolex 'Windsor' had a Deep Sea Black a few days back

Been around London with friends trying to get a GMT or Sub no date
No chance, just going on waiting lists.

My mate just payed 5600 for a GMT 2 years old.,,really wanted ASAP for his 50th, couldn't wait

Deep Blue - cant even be added to list
Just get told they haven't seen one for months. Obviously different situation in the US..we all understand that.

I think every AD has a sea-dweller, that plus EXP2, YM, Milgauss etc.

The interesting models currently will be subc, Blnr, Air King New, D-Blue, DaytonaC, LVc

These are the scarce ones just now especially D-Blue and BLNR

I picked up tha d blue last week and am on the list for the blnr. Seeing them side by side though worries it might be too small.

It is noticing smaller. The pcl on the blnr help it to stand out. The main bonus of the blnr is it is oh so comfortable. Like a dream on the wrist compared to the D Blue. Its like I'm not even wearing it. Not to say the D blue is uncomfortable, but there is a clear difference.

If it was the 116710ln, then yes, that's exactly what the list price is. And 2 years old... a little bit of madness (IMHO).

Cheers,
Joe

Picked up a UK Explorer 214270 2016 MK2 this week for few quid below Rolex RRP.
Couldn't be any happier with that.

I was searching all around London for a GMT 116710ln back in August, gave up in the end and bought one from iconic watches.

Had my name down on several waiting lists, this post might be a bit too late, but I received a call from Fraser Hart in Westfield Stratford last week telling me the GMT was now available if I wanted it.
Worth try if anyone is after that particular model and is local.
