Rolex logo

I noticed some vintage "crown" logo is missing the bottom--the oval circle is not there--I see this in buckles,etc. Can someone give me some history ? what era they use this ?

are you supposed to? i found it on google images. I think they look cool, but I can't offer any facts.

It would be best if you could post a pic of the logo in question. rolex has changed the oval, fingers, and general appearance of the crown ever so slightly over the years.

kinda neat...the variations in the crown shape/size have to do with what quadrant of the southwestern hemisphere the sun was eloping while the quantum change of solar winds equinox the unicorn. Very scientific.

No clue. But I thought Id at least take a stab at it.

need picture but the one i have is over 50 years old and the crown looks the same as modern one's do so i don't have a clue sorry
