Question about model #
This forum is great! Love seeing all the pictures and following the different threads.
I recently bought a new Datejust in Switzerland. It is a two tone DJ with the stick dial, fluted bezel and Jubilee bracelet. I have seen a lot of talk on here about the 116233, but mine is a 116223. Can someone tell me what the difference in the next to last digit means? TIA, Jeff |

Thank you! I thought fluted and engine turned were the same thing, but I guess not.

Padi is right theorically, but problem is 116223 with engine turned bezel have never been produced ??? Do you have pictures ? |

Look closely at that card because 116223 is a commonly used "mis-reference" number by replica makers to describe fluted bezeled DJs.
Hopefully just a transposed number...
