Agreed - it took a great watch and made it better. Love the knurled crown and the hacking movement. Both are great improvements to an otherwise bullet proof watch.

Great thread; not sure why I haven't posted here yet.
6146: I love its nuanced case shape. And 5722: And here's a Yobokies-modified SKX on a baseball mitt strap: Last edited by powerfunk; 16 June 2014 at 04:21 AM.. Reason: Wrong image link |

Love this 5722. Classic look that reminds me of the 6119 cal from the past. Congrats.

Thanks! I have a soft spot for Seikos that came out in the late 1960's, because that's the time period during which Seiko was embarrassing the entire Swiss watch industry so badly that they stopped doing chronometer competitions. And that was before the quartz "crisis."

My spork is my pub and cycling watch, haven't seen another one in the wild, seen a few 16610's though no LV's I see more Rolex's than I so Seiko divers. Enjoy. |

I have gone from owning no Seiko watches to three in less than a month.
I'm waiting on a stainless steel shroud for the LE baby tuna, and a couple of natos for the orange monster. I'm really happy with the strap I chose for the bloody monster. |

Love my Seikos; great daily-wear watches. Looking for a 6309 at the moment...
