Pictures Can Be Deceiving

Its amazing how deceiving pictures can be. I bought the TT Blue Sub last Sept 2013. It has the flat blue face (smurf)..Then Rolex decides to bring back the sunburst dial. At first I was kinda pissed. I saw pics on the internet and though "Wow the sunburst is beautiful"..Then I went to my AD recently and compared the 2 next to each other. In person, the smurf looks better than the sunburst especially with the ceramic bezel. It was strange, the sunburst made the maxi dial look small...

They had an older TT Blue Sub with Aluminum bezel and that looked amazing with sunburst.

To each his own I suppose....

They're both beautiful. I prefer the sunburst in person but can totally see the argument in favor of the flat blue as it matches the ceramic better.

On the new ceramic, I think the flat blue "Smurf" is the way to go. It matches the bezel in all lighting.

With the aluminum bezel, the old sunburst is just beautiful!

Much prefer the 'sunburst' as you people like to call it.

Once you see the sunburst the flat is kind of dull, even if it matches the bezel better.

I also prefer the flat blue since it matches the bezel almost perfectly. The sunburst just doesn't match the bezel and looks off to me.

Depends on the watch. The green sunburst is stunning. The flat blue is deep.
