Along the same lines....that is the reason that I put the Red Yachtmaster hand on my SD. At depth, it isn't as important to note the seconds elapsing on a dive. Red is the first color to disappear as a diver descends into the depths, so the second hand tends to disappear on the dial at depth. At the end of the dive as the diver ascends, the red second hand becomes very visible the closer the diver comes to the surface at the different safety stops. This is when the seconds on a dive become much more important also.

Works like a charm

I guess now I just need to source a blue SD dial for my abomination to make it perfect. Too bad Rolex never made one.
