I'm seriously considering getting a DJ II in the next few months would I be silly to do so knowing that DJ41 in SS is coming next year?

It depends, if you really want the jubilee on the 41mm yes. If you really value the movement upgrades then yes. If not and DJ2 sings, why wait?

I've been thinking a lot about that, I prefer oyster bracelet to jubilee, the movement upgrade is nice but the current movement is a proven workhorse and Rolex still makes new watches with the same movement eg. YM, the new air king etc. I couldn't stop thinking about the DJ II blue stick dial since I tried it on awhile ago, I was considering the AT blue MC but I just don't love it, it's nice and everything though

Yeah the AT is nice but if you really want the DJ2 that's what you should do. I can also tell you the new version is more elegant looking based on the proportional changes, the bracelet integrates into the case nicely and the slimmer bezel and markers make the watch more balanced IMO. That doesn't mean the DJ2 blue sticks isn't a looker it is. Plus no guarantee it will be out in 2017. First world problems but a tough one for sure! Good luck and post some pics whenever you make the acquisition!

I returned to the scene of the crime. I was incorrect. Easylink on the jubilee, yes! I imagine this might make it Rolex's most comfortable bracelet ever.

And here's the rose gold:

That's the one. I prefer the look of Super Jubilee with its hidden clasp, but I do love me some Easylink. Might be worth the change.
