Which dial for 36mm Everose + SS Datejust?
Hi guys,
Your opinions on which dial (and why?) to get for a 36mm Datejust - Two Tone Everose Gold - Fluted Bezel - Jubilee Bracelet. This would not be an everyday watch. Probably occasionally at the office. But more for special occasions / business social gatherings / dinners (not formal but more smart casual). 1. Black Dial Stick Markers 2. Black Dial Roman Numerals 3. Rhodium Dial Roman Numerals Rolex_Datejust_Watch_-_Rolex_Swiss_Luxury_Watches (1).jpg Rolex_Datejust_Watch_-_Rolex_Swiss_Luxury_Watches.jpg Rolex_Datejust_Watch_-_Rolex_Swiss_Luxury_Watches (2).jpg |

Rhodium dial - I just like how the dial colour flows through to the bracelet if that makes sense, my personal preference out of the three choices. It would be such a nice watch to go with smart causal attire imho 👌

of those three, i prefer the black stick by far. i think the rhodium will be a bit washed out in that configuration, and the black romans are a bit stuffy for my taste.
i thought i recently saw someone post a new DJ with chocolate sunburst dial? that could look really good, too, if it exists. EDIT: aah, the chocolate dial is for the new DJ 41. maybe it will become available for the 36? |

Of those 3 then the rhodium gets my vote every time, but how about the RG dial too?
I'm guessing that the central "block" of colour made by the bracelet running into the bezel and dial is too much for you, but it really pops in my mind. I'm not normally a fan of Roman markers, but in this combination I think it's the best looking. EDIT: Not sure why, but I can't link the Roman markers picture for some reason |

I never really cared for black dials on the DJ/DD, maybe I just feel like black should be reserved for the more tool watches.
Regarding Roman vs. Stick, I always felt Fluted/Roman and Smooth/Stick were the best combos. |

Out of those 3, number 3...but why not consider the Arabic concentric?
