Reference chart
Does anyone know where to find a Rolex Model/serial number/Year reference chart? I have looked at the Rolex web site and tried Google, but have been unsuccessful. My watch is model 1803, 18k, with fine checkering cut into the case. SN 72XXXX.
Thank you, Mike |

"Fine checkering" makes me think Morellis finish, and that's an 1806, search for that - cheers, Pete

Can you post a pic of your watch? Like Pete said, I'm thinking it's a Morellis finish (such a cool style), but probably a Ref. 18038. _________ Instagram: @onthedial |

That is not a factory treatment. The watch dates to somewhere around 1963-ish but the dial and case don't look like anything Rolex released for a Day Date of that period.
Very likely a custom treatment. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
