116333 two tone scratches

Hi All,

So I got my new addition to my collection, and absolutely love it. However in the few days I've had it I've noticed that I'm getting fine scratches on the gold bit of the strap where I guess it gets rubbed against my desk at work.

Very frustrating, I'm sure the will buff out however one doesn't want to keep polishing out and I guess there is nothing that can be done as it just part of wear and tear, no?

Just sounding off, it's not so noticeable on my SS sub.

Cheers

SK

Yeah...it's all part of the experience.

Let it go and enjoy wearing it...otherwise, what's the point?

Unfortunately, those scratches go with the territory. I try to minimize the scratches on my TT GMT but they are inevitable. Don't be tempted to start going at them with Cape Cod cloth. Let RSC polish it when it's due for service.

I had the same question a couple of weeks ago. Apparently, the saying is "wear the watch, don't let the watch wear you."

Take it easy and enjoy the watch ;-)
