I have not put a NATO band on a Rolex yet, I do have one on my Speedmaster. The original band is from the 70's, so I thought it might look cool.

[QUOTE=DLRIDES;7941551]I WAS not a fan of NATO straps, and have been guilty of accusing wearers of cheapening their watch ! I’m starting to come around (somewhat) now. Recently bought a vintage Tudor with a silver dial for casual summer wear and tried a few on it. They are comfortable, easy to change, and can coordinate with most leisure settings. I do not like the ones with the big rounded loops, and too many rings though !
Update on above post : While experimenting with NATO straps, I ran across Erika's Original Straps. Ordered, installed, and I HIGHLY recommend this strap ! Elastic fits in the morning and afternoon, vintage look, securely fastens, various stitching and hardware options, single layer under watch, very comfortable, etc .......... https://erikasoriginals.com/ I went with the Original MN Strap[/B]

All the pictures look great. For me it never worked out, had them on nearly all of my rolex and ended up swapping them back to the bracelet after a couple of days.

My 2003 NOS SD got her NATO through, before I even thought of trying on the bracelet... I never did! It still has all the stickers. |
