Finally got the speedmaster pro

My first real luxury watch was a speedmaster day/date, which I loved, and it fit my wrist perfectly at 39mm. I sold it a while back because I wanted the “real” speedmaster. I finally got the pro and it lives up to every bit of the hype, but is it too big for my 6.75 inch wrist? I hate large watches on me and normally don’t go over 40mm. What do you guys think ?

I don't think the size looks bad on your wrist at all. I would not go bigger than the 42mm though as that appears to be about your threshold judging from your pic. I'm guessing you're just not used to the size coming from typically 40mm and under. However, wear and enjoy! Great watch that looks just fine on you.

Thanks. I think you’re 100% right with that. My other watch is a 39mm oyster perpetual and I’ve always felt that was the perfect size, so now wearing something bigger, I’m just not used to it.

Looks good on you.
I have a 6.3” wrist and also wear a Speedy Pro. To my eyes, my Speedy looks great on me

Looks fine to me, but as said I think it's as big as you want to go. Wearing on a strap makes it feel a little smaller too.

Great classic and the rounded shapes makes at a good allrounder - I use my moon primarely as a dress watch.

Looks great and congrats! If you switch to a strap you may notice it 'looks' smaller on your wrist (same size as mine, btw).

Looks great. Maxed out, but I agree that it doesn't look too big.

I've been thinking about one for some time, but with a just over 6.5 wrist, I'm a little worried about the size (my Explorer is 39 and seems perfect). But man, what a great value the Speedmaster Pro is...

It's an iconic watch with a great value ... so buy it, you won't regret it. My wrist is 6.3" and as I said earlier the Speedy looks great on me

Looks great! Going from a 39mm watch to the 42mm Speedy will take a lil time to get used to when you look down at it. Same for me when I swap out my 40mm SeaDweller for a Speedy.

Looks like you have it over the bone and yes it looks too big.

Put up a pix of it down your wrist?

I just sold it. Those end links that stick out were just too much for me in the end, they caused the watch to look like it went beyond my wrist. I’m sick over it, I felt like between that and my OP, I didn’t ever need to buy another watch (who knows if that’s actually true lol). I guess at some point I’ll be on the hunt to find a replacement, but I felt like I had a great duo there

You are right you had a great duo there. Good luck with your future purchase whatever it turns out to be
