Would you trade?

Would you trade a YM2 116681 for a Submariner 116613LB plus $6K? Keep in mind the retail on both, and the preowned pricing on both, if buying new the most you would get is 20% and maybe not that much on the sub because it’s so popular.. Your non bias comments are welcomed!

If you love the YM 2 - then yes. It’s an incredible technical movement and it’s quite stunning.

Not based on the complication, just price, truth is I’d never go diving with a Sub and most of us tell time on a mobile device.

True, but I use the bezel on my bluesy for daily things like cooking, grilling, how long my kid is on time out for, how long I’ve been at lunch, etc. also when were at the park, I’ll set the bezel and tell him when it gets to 15 it’s time to go. Stuff like that.

Additionally, I find the dial of the ym a bit busy for my liking.

Based on all my opinions for myself, no, I don’t think price is worth it. Just my .02 though.

Bluesy has a stunning look and feel. The ym2 on the other hand has a white dial and rose gold, you really have a decision to make if you like the ym2. Price wise as both preowned and similar condition is fair.

Agreed that the bezel on the sub is more useful sometimes!

Well not fair, it’s a huge price difference, Sub is 10K on the high side and the YM2 is $18K that’s a huge difference in price.

Also a while dial is more classy imo but the blue dial is a stunner as well

Well, the bluesy is 10k. But the ym2 is definitely not 18k more like 16-16.5. So imo it's a fair deal if you prefer the blue dial and yg tt. It really comes down to what you prefer most. Good luck

Likely I'd hold onto the Sub. The YMII is a great watch but too big for me.
