I bought my black GV 3 months ago and it has become one of my favorite, besides a date sub. Love its uniqueness with the orange second hand. Just to compare I got a Daytona 15 years ago but have worn it perhaps fewer than 20 times.

Hi to everyone since this is my first post since 2006.

Personally, I'm a big fan of this line... I'd bet one of these models is a collector's item in 30-40 years, same as the original.

Blue is my favorite.

Blue Dial, Green Crystal is awesome. I also like the ExpII 42 Polar. I personally don't really care for the "Traditional" Datejust, DayDate, Sub. They are too boring for me plus so many "homage" pieces out there. The Milgauss is just different and stands out to me in a sea of the same models with different names and colors. But hey to each their own. Enjoy what you want wear what you want.

Because of posts like these insinuating that it is unpopular.

Love this watch... I just think for that price there's so many other watches I would rather buy.

If I had infinite money, perhaps I would get it as my 20th watch.

Why is the Milgauss so unpopular?

Please share your thoughts on why the modern milgauss gets no love, while the vintage milgauss gets lots of love?

It’s unpopular because it’s not a submariner. Now that the next gen movements are rolling out through the lines with antimag built in, they will probably finish up producing the Milgauss.....and then everyone will want one....u known how the watch world works

All milgauss r now best value for picking up now. I got two milgauss watches and plan to pick up another one tomorrow. These thunderbolt second hands r very attractive.

Why pay over premium for hulk or batman while u can buy a milgauss at very reasonable price? i think milgauss is like those manual winding vintage daytona in the past when everyone was buying datejust and daydate.

From what I heard, Milguass is very popular.

... but I only talk to me, so that's an opinion of one.

Several versions already are discontinued. I see the white dial as the one everyone will want 10 years from now.

It's the eccentric Rolex isn't it? The anti-classic model. I like it but not on my wrist, I'm more into classic looking pieces so I would never give it a chance. I would probably tire of it quickly, flip it, take a loss and not even enjoy wearing it. A lose-lose situation.

I personally love the look of the Milgauss. It is very unique and understated. I had a clear glass black dial that I traded for my GMT2 two-tone and missed it. So I just got a white dial Milgauss.

Because it's unconventional and perhaps a little eccentric? I personally like it, I think it looks cool.

milgauss is a great looker, just a bit different, i don't inderstand why someone would feel hostile towards a watch,

people talk baloney, if that was on a celebrities wrist running a campaign for rolex, people wouldn't be able to get enough of it.

I love the lightning seconds hand and color schemes, I just wish the case was a bit thinner (I'm imagining the OP39 case) and it was fully brushed.
