I own a Rolex(s) but I also...

...break my toothpick in half and save one-half for later.

Coming from simpler times and lesser means, I have some habits that I can’t shake off. Thought it’d be interesting to hear your frugalities as well.

If I didn't enjoy Grand Tour and Dr. Who so much, I'm not sure I would still have it. Even with Netflix upping prices too, I still find it better than cable though.

I save all my coins (change) in a giant plastic water jug. It's about halfway full now. I figure it will be a couple thousand dollars when it's full.

Gotcha beat, car wise. 2003 Hyundai Elantra with 217K on it.

I live in a small house, shop at Walmart and live pretty simply.

Divide my food up into smaller portions and freeze them, esp carbs as I'm not allowed too much so it helps the body and the wallet.

Yes, get a Fire 10 HD as soon as it goes on sale for 99 bucks again. Just an incredible bargain, hands free Alexa! Alexa, paper towels! Alexa, Weather in Bucharest! Alexa, Play Bach! Alexa, tell me a joke. Alexa, does Siri suck? All things I've actually asked. :)

'09 VW Jetta w/only 76,000 mi. (Trade value =$3,000+). No rust or dents.
Why overspend on a simple thing that just gets you from Point A to Point B when I can use those funds to strap a $9,000 SS watch on my wrist to tell the time?! Priorities...

I own a Rolex but I also take a can of pop to the movies instead of buying one from the cinema.

Two trips and I saved enough for my sub.

I live very modestly, well below what I would imagine most of members live, but I'm comfortable enough and I can splurge on the things I enjoy the most.

As for Amazon Prime, it is absolutely worth it to me.

I browse a bit, click a few buttons and in a couple of days, the item arrives at my mailbox.

They now have a return feature that is so easy it's ridiculous.

I don't own a printer anymore because it's not worth the price to use once or twice per year and by the time I need one, the ink has dried.

I returned an item today by showing a "barcode" on my phone to a UPS agent who scanned it and printed out a label that contains all the pertinent information and now the item is on it's way back to Amazon.

I might not like Jeff Bezos, but I have to admit that he's built a magnificent monument to capitalism and made my life a lot easier.

I use Amazon music also and have three Alexa devices (Echo, Tap, and Dot), in my small apartment. I don't use them as extensively as some might, but they are really convenient for a lot of reasons.

I don't do that as much as I should, considering that I eat out every day. It would save me a bundle, that's for sure, with the way drink prices are in even the least expensive restaurants and cafes.

Oh man I have so many I am almost ashamed to post them.

I buy one large Jamba juice and ask to split in half, instead of buying two small ones for my kids.

Drive on the last bits of gas / diesel in the car towards a station that is 3 miles away to save $4 on a full tank.

Hate paying $7 for a bottle of beer in a restaurant when it only costs me $1 ish at home. My kids and wife order sodas, and I ask for water.

Get $15 hair cuts while my 6 year old's haircuts cost $25 and up. (my wife HATES my cheap haircuts , but it all looks the same to me. )

I will stop now.
