Love the GV.

It's a big hit, but so what. You live on time.

Get what you want.

I love my GV. I'm very happy with it and would choose it anyday over the zenith.

NOOOOOOOO.

I sounds like you will miss the zenith.
Save up for the milgauss. Buy it from a trusted seller.

No way! The striking tenth is not only cooler, it has a much more complicated movt.! Not to mention the pedigree of the El Primero.

You can always get the Milgauss one day, it'll always be there. However, the Zenith is limited (and IMO a great watch). You'll have a hard time finding one in the future. I say keep the Zenith and save up for the rolex.

Nope. I would probably have bought a Milgauss over the Zenith in the first place, but if I hadn't I wouldn't take that hit..

Don't get it. The Milgauss was on the market way before the Zenith you bought.
It's cheaper new so why did you buy the Zenith in the first place?

I suspect you got used to owning the watch and it has become 'just a watch'.
Aren't you afraid you'll feel the same about the LV after some time and will regret the switch or crave something else again ? If this is the case you need to keep it and safe to add. That is the watch bug you get from forums. One is (almost) never enough...

Zentih is a top brand with a great history, keep it.

Exactly this, im afraid it'll happen again with the milgauss. And yes, i might miss the zenith more than I think.

First of all, thanks to ALL for your replies , I think you guys talked me out of it. I won't be doing the trade, I guess the best thing right now is save up for the GV. Better wait a little longer to purchase it than do a trade i will regret. Watching the EP on my wrist right now is making me fall in love with it again.

I think you made a great choice. That Striking Tenth is one of my favorite watches. Who would have thought you would get so many votes for a Zenith over a Rolex here? It just shows the appreciation this forum has for fine timepieces.

100% do the trade if it's equivalent and no cash is involved.
Otherwise, keep the Zenith and just buy a preowned Milgauss (~$5.5k).

I am a fan of Milgauss GV, but after reading all those comments about the Zenith, I would say the Milgauss can wait... stick to your Zenith!

I own a GV and wear it everyday. It has relegated all of my other watches to the safe and a few to eBay.

That said, I think you are rig to keep the Zenith. The GV is gorgeous, but that Senith is REALLY special.

The zenith is a beauty, and as much as I love the GV, I wouldn't do the deal at that cost.
Kick in another $4k or so for a lightly pre-owned GV and you have both.
