So the two cheapest places I've found them are Australia and Singapore both around $11,100Aus (can claim GST /tax back 10%) and US was about $9100 USD.

Problem with all of these places... is getting your hands on one... In australia unless you're a VIP they won't look at you, USA - LA have stock ever now and then it seems.

Hong kong - nothing
Same as china/Malaysia.

I'll focus my efforts on getting one locally I think - I can't stand the fact of paying more then retail for current production watch. More so I want my first Rolex experience to be through an AD for the whole experience. If anyone knows someone in Australia that can point me in the right direction - i would be forever greatful!

You thought about going a bit further afield? Europe for example? I just recently had an email from an Irish AD that could get one in around March '18 for me if I wanted. Had a few other people in the queue before me.
(FYI - tax free shopping available in Ireland - VAT is 20% odd.........)

I ended up getting one locally :) basically as new 2017.

Paid around $9800us.

It was too much of a lottery being on waiting lists ect, as I wanted to wear it to my wedding in Feb. I'm happy with it I don't think I'll lose on it that's for sure.

They had one for 8,910 which sold this week apparently, but is still on the site. Amazing.

A 116610ln is a few quid shy of 8 grand. It’s gone bonkers.

Forget the 16610LV

Best value now is DSSD Dblue

Will be discontinued soon with much lesser distribution than 16610LV

No joke

116610LV has a spike currently. Going on 10 yrs available. D blue will have a less available time than the 7-8 year on 16610LVs.

Shocker. People want 116610LVs all of a sudden

So do I. @ MSRP only of course

Bottom line? DSSD Dblue is THE SS watch to own right now moving forward current price vs future performance ratio

Those who purchased a 116610LV 2-8 year ago is

Guys, is $10,750 a good price for a new one?

Being offered one, and seriously considering it.

People are paying the equivalent of 12k usd in the UK for them at the moment but of course the next reply will say its all hype and will be 2k under list in January :)

If you can afford it and you want it go for it

Thanks bro!

Hmmm.... trying to justify the $1,750 premium over SRP. My mind says no, my heart says maybe.

This is a tough one.

Bought mine in September for retail price in Sweden.
80'500SEK, around $9500.
They wouldn't budge on the price (understandable, I didn't even ask) but changed battery in my girlfriends Omega for free.

Lucky you beat me to it :P

But at 10k I'm glad I didn't! So was the price ~$9100 + sales tax?

Thats's steep can you claim it back in NY or do you have to leave the country?

I paid around $9900 US -Well worth it IMHO.

I was offered one at the same price, passed it. Less than 24 hours later it was sold and shipped to Dubai where the waiting list for LVC is 7 months.

Paid $11,500 Canadian for one at the end of October, or i.e. about $8,950 USD at today's exchange rate.

I would not buy at $10,750. I don't believe this discontinuation claptrap. It is a very nice piece though.
