Air King 5500
Hello everyone,
I am considering the purchase of this beauty: How do you like it? I love the speckled dial and will be sure to give it some more macro shots after the purchase. Any first impressions? :) |

Not a fan of damaged dials. But, as long as you love it....why not??

Beauty?
Well, I guess it is true what they say and that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I don't mean to put you down, just giving my honest opinion. My 2 cents, the dial appears to have a hole in it, next to 3 o'clock marker. I personally don't mind a tropical dial with a nice uniform patina but this one is more on the damaged side than the exotic side. If it is very cheap I would maybe consider it and outsource a nos dial but otherwise I would personally pass it in this condition. Also, correct me if I am wrong but the hands don't look ok to me. PS: If you reside in Tokyo you don't really need to buy from chrono. You are spoiled with rolex pre-owned dealers in Japan.
