I just shined a flashlight on mine. The black comes from the bottom up to the 20 and 40 minute dots and slightly below the green deepsea. Then it goes in a mix to above the deepsea. All very pure no issues. This is a 2017.

I was just looking at the deep blue dial under bright lighting with a loupe and you can see the black spray dots all the way up to the 12 hr marker.

Not possible to see with human eye but they are there. I'm surprised, as I'd have thought the black would have stopped around middle of the dial. Anyone else noticed the same?

To be honest, I was very surprised they immediately decided to replace the watch. But then again, I quoted that the watch was 2 days old, and this is how it shouldn't look like, brand new coming from the reputable AD.

Some crazy reflections on mine, but it looks like the black comes up to the SEA-DWELLER sign, and then it fades to blue.

I like the cyclops!

Hi guys,

I just picked up my Deep Sea blue a few days ago and noticed that I also have some dark dots like 'sea weed bits' on the dial.

It very hard to see with a naked eye. I have taken some photo's under loupe but not clearest due to the thickness of the glass.

Any thoughts? Any one else looked under a loupe on their Deep blue and found the same?

My deep blue has these spots too. Normal. Can't see it without a loupe so who cares.

To be honest, I'm not that bothered but was just curious if this is just happening to me or it's meant to be like that but just no body noticed.

Looks pretty cool, looks like floating sea weed bits

Apart from James Cameron, can anything else survive down there?

Quick question. I bought a deep sea blue last month from an AD. But the serial no starts with “Y”.
Searched online and found out that Y series was in the year 2002-03. Whereas deep sea blue was introduced in 2014.
The serial no on the watch and the card do match however.

Confused. Please help.

It will be random, the Y does not relate to the year.
Don’t worry.
