Shopping for Xmas I just had a glance at the Gucci site and see the Gucci cap I paid £125 for a few years ago is now selling for £190! Makes the AP cap seem even better, and maybe even decent value for £200.

Mind you I recently paid out for a Goyard wallet, and some would say that's equally insane, as two thirds of the value/price is for the brand.

resale probably isnt that good with two years of being on your head. Im not buying if you decide to capitalize and flip it.

Thought did cross my mind , as I just bought a Minnesota Vikings cap for £20 and it seems good luck as the Vikes are on a roll, so that is getting most head time.

Ridiculous as I have some nice watches like you, but I just can't get over to spending £500 or so on a Goyard wallet. I bought a nice Patek one at less than half the price.

Nice hat Neil I have the same one..

Oh don’t mention wallets I have an LV/Goyard addiction and have way too many Card holders (don’t use wallets)

If I had of known you wanted a PP wallet I would of sent you mine as it’s still brand new in my safe.

Cheers Sam, but I kinda swapped it for a Prada one I had so not really a straight buy. I know you guys like Goyard, just glad I'm so lazy the walk from Bond St is too far for me, and no way I am waiting in a street queue.

Back in the queue next week picking up the bag I had personalised for my wife.

This is how bad it is, my current rotation (there’s more in the safe)

i never heard of goyard before joining the forum... or Creed for that matter. At first i thought it had to be somehow related to the awful band of the same name, like Brittany Spears perfume. This forum is trouble and not just on the watch front as im addicted to all 3 now.

You know I’ve still never found a Creed I like!

Must admit I’ve been using Bleu de Chanel for so long now anything else just doesn’t smell right.

If you get a chance you can have lunch or maybe tea at Helene Darroze at the Connaught just opposite. My friend's fave restaurant, he loves the place. Sell the Patek wallet to pay for it.

the new one Viking is great for the winter, not sure i would wear it in warm weather though. Im bored of Aventus at this point which seems to be the popular one.

Might look that one up, I prefer the cooler smell used to love Davidoff Cool water and the moved onto Bleu, found the Creed ones warmer smelling (if you get what I mean)

I had Green Irish Tweed but it really smelt like Cool Water, my scent thru Uni. Girls always liked it.

yeah. the cooler fresh sents i dont really use creed for. The warmer smelling ones are good and i tend to do those in the winter. Spicy, wood, smoky. Those are all wrong when you are in shorts and a tee at the beach though.

Another one to look up

Cool water did me good through my years as a doorman, like you said the girls loved it

Forget Creed – Acqua di Parma or Frederic Malle.
For woody, spicy, smokey, look at the AdP Leather or FM Monsieur, and Merchant of Venice Sultan Leather.
The only Creed I did like the smell of was the Spice & Wood, sold only as a 250ml flacon!

Or for the ultimate in luxury - have your own fragrance custom blended to your personal spec. I can recommend an excellent place in Berlin..

Limited edition 1 of 1 - can't go back to off the shelf ever again !!

I'm quite the tom ford fan. Oud wood for me. Have not tried creed though. Will have to...

Pardon my language, but the new Tom Ford F*cking Fabulous is very nice. Noir is an old standby, but I've actually met a lot of women who wear it.

Versace makes great cologne - Eros is a favorite.

Gentleman Only by Givenchy is also nice, and lighter.

Whilst I'm content with my Goyard wallet, even though I know its well over priced (I have a card holder now too) fortunately most of these ridiculously over priced brands fly straight over my head and I have zero interest. I'm saving (nearly all of) my hard earned for more 2018 APs!
