I have recently purchased the blue dial OP and chose the blue over the rhodium. I found the blue dial more to my liking. With my OP being blue, I will eventually also get an Explorer I since it's different enough dial color.
Rhodium in my opinion would be very close. However, I would view the OP as a dressier/work/business-casual watch and Explorer I as a more sporty/casual/travel watch. So, if I were you, I could convince myself that it's worth having both. Plus, I just really like the way these 39mm pieces wears and looks on me. So, I'm a bit biased.
