Incoming Monteverde Sequoia 1.1mm stub

Had my eye on this a while and pulled the trigger during pen chalet's double ink points day. Also picked up a Lamy LX in rose gold and some Edelstein ink. So the Sequoia is in green with a 1.1mm stub nib. The nib is ok as usual. Needs a little work but easily tuned. It's a large diameter pen for Monteverde of which I like. Don't really have something like that from them in my collection. The Regatta is a bigger pen and heavy but this Sequoia is fairly light and much bigger in diameter. The resin is a purposely mismatched pattern of a black base with green pearl waves and minor silver pearl strands. Really cool and works with the misalignment of the different colors. There's only one entrance to the threads of the section to the body as well as the cap to the body. You only get one option on all alignments of the colors this way. That's fine though. I get it Monteverde! It's a really cool pen! The cap threads could have been a little tighter though. They're sort of loose and feel "cheap" I guess but overall it's a really cool pen in the Monteverde line!
