I just picked up the YMII and it really pops. One of the coolest complications out there also. Definitely the coolest Rolex has.

I don't think there is another watch out there that "pops" more than the Smurf.
Brilliant blue dial and bezel and white gold??

What do you think??

About any Rolex in a mixed gas atmosphere dive chamber while resurfacing if it doesn't have a gas escape valve.

I think this two-tone YM manages to grab attention while avoiding tackiness

1. Any of the classic AP Royal Oaks. The finishing catches light like no other watch I have seen in person.

2. Green or Blue Submariners

3. Although controversial (30m water resistance ) , the Pam728 Due pops quite a bit -- the combination of a blue sunburst dial against a satin titanium case contrasting with a high polished crown guard & bezel creates a visual light show.

YM, blue dial, red accents pops about as much as anything does. But if DD is in your budget then that's the route to take.

That is a great picture and looks perfect on your wrist. That particular piece is very difficult for most people to pull off but you do it well. It definitely pops.

I don’t exactly know how to word my question. But I’m after a new watch, I want something which grabs attention and feels special.

What I mean by this, I own a few pieces, two of my favourites, the Tudor BB and JLC reverse ultra thin, however, on the wrist they are easily overlooked and it gets far less compliments than say my BLNR. I would describe the BLNR as being a watch that ‘pops’

I’m wanting a 3watch collection. JLC reversal ultra thin, DaytonaC and ....

I’m thinking of a day date in yellow gold, or a 15202. Any advice on the two or other watches which are statement pieces?

Thanks. Sorry if my question isn’t too clear.

any one of these will do!

of course if you want to go big and yellow gold cant beat a YMII...certainly makes a "statement"!

Anything yellow gold is loud..the bigger it is the louder it is. YG DD2, YG blue sub, YG YM2, YG SkyDweller..an exciting position to be when deciding on which YG Rolex to purchase. Have fun!

Not many people talk about this piece but Air King 114210 Blue Concentric has very nice pop.

humm...if you are wanting a watch that pops...then 18238 white index stick dial. You can get around $11,800-$12,500...same price as what the other watch suggestions.

I think the same. If one can pull off the YG, and it must be on the President, then there's your pop. The RG less so.
