Ronnie O'Sullivan Century Break #917

I never get tired of watching O'Sullivan.

He's been posting centuries these days at an incredible pace.

Here's the 917th, and the latest, of his career and it is so elegantly executed.

Pretty incredible. The ball control he has is masterful to say the least. Always liked snooker, never played much. Too much 9 ball for people’s lunch money.

Sad I don’t even own a table now.

I watched him 'live' on sunday evening, it was the uk championships, he was the winner

I love this game, have done since I was a kid, I have been to the crucible and have been to many matches.

if you really want to see genius, watch ronnies 147 at the crucible in the '90s

5 min and 12 seconds I believe.......

great to know there are other snooker fans out there

Your very fortunate.

His record maximum was 5'20", I do believe. At any rate it will stand for a very long time.

I have watched close to all the videos on YouTube that are available, I think.

Maybe he's not as fast as ever, but his style is exquisite and in top form.

Considering the difficulties of his youth, he is not only a great snooker player, but a fine man and a good example to follow.

Oh and he likes watches, too.

genius is a word that is often thrown around loosely,

but when you can hit a 147 both left and right handed

you are that genius.

If this is boring, it's only because the Rocket makes it look so easy.

The big snooker debate in the uk is who is the best ever?

Steve Davis 6 world titles
Stephen hendry 7 world titles
Ronnie 5 world titles

It is still hendry in my view

He has 7
He was the youngest
He was awesome
His career was over in his mid to late 30s

Then it's Davis

He dominated the 80s and just such a great bloke and ultimate pro, he also did first televised 147 he really put the game on the map along with white and Alex Higgins

Then Ronnie

Who of course has more natural talent than the other two put together

He needs to get to 7 to be the best ever

I'd probably agree although Ronnie is my favourite.

I think that is a perfect summary.
