Daytona Black or white ?

Well I’ve finally reached the top spot at my AD for the Daytona and he emailed me the other day and asked me which colour dial I’d like.
I used to own the non ceramic black version of the Daytona and struggled to read the time in poor light , I still think the black looks better but I’m now being drawn to the white dial.
Any thoughts guys ?

I prefer the white. I like the contrast and legibility.

White dial all the way. The black to me looks a little dull (please do not crucify me) next to the white dial.

Owned them both for a year. Sold the black. Kept the white.

I think the white is a little more legible, but man, the black is spectacular. Tough choice.

I like black with SS bezel and white with ceramic for looks but I get what you mean as far as better legibility with the white dial.

I had white and would still have it if I didn’t buy the WG LN.

White, reminiscent of Paul Newman's PN. Also, it's a panda!

The one that more legible to your eyes - chronos are best when you can read them quickly and accurately imo.

interesting that your dealer has just one list and only ask the question when your spot is up. So what if you want a white dial and he later gets in a black one, then without telling the 2nd person on the list that he has a black one available, he ask him the same question? And it eventually go to the lucky winner that "guessed" or "picked" the right watch?

It's like a game show!! Next contestant! guess what color Daytona I have in the vault!

Now that's a first world problem! White dial for stand out contrast, and black for discretion.
