DD bracelet

Just curious as to owners of PM sports models if you stay away from the DD36 or DD40 because of the lack of a glide lock or oyster lock in the bracelet.

I have tried some on but cant seem to get them to fit as well as my BLRO and Smurf.

Thanks.

Thanks.

That has been a concern for me and one of the reasons why I chose a blro. But not the main reason.

I still like the day dates though.

I had a DD36 and now have a DD40 and both were very comfortable to wear just needed to get a 1.25 link for perfect fit.

I think expectations is the key here. of course with the glidelock system and micro adjustments on clasps you can adjust your fit easily throughout the day. Sure, in the morning, the DD bracelet may be a little loose and as the day progresses fits a little tighter. Cold weather vs warmer causes changes in fit. You just find the best fit you can and roll with it. Lets face it, the classic look of those beautiful presidential links wrapped around your wrist...... you cant slap a glidelock on it. it'd be a sin. Work with it. Add the 1.25 if necc but it's been this way for over half a century.

DD40, comfortable as is with a few links out... and of course you can buy a 'fractional' link.

I think the president braclet is the most confortable bracelet I’ve felt.

Another here here for the DD. Super comfortable. I also like how distinctive the Prez bracelet is as it is offered on no other Rolex model

I'll admit, the lack of some sort of micro adjustment in the DD has put me off a bit in the past. .

But, the 1.25 link works magic and has totally changed my feelings about the DD40.

Definitely comfortable. Slightly prefer my DD40 bracelet over my oyster models.

Although I really like the look of the DD, I would rather admire it from afar....

On your wrist...!

Much to my surprise, once sized to my wrist, I find the President bracelet to be more comfortable than the PM Oyster bracelet. Until I tried a watch with a properly sized President bracelet, I would have sworn nothing could be more comfortable than the Oyster bracelet.

The President bracelet seems to just mold itself to the wrist without undue pressure or weight.

Love my 18239 DD, president bracelet is awesome. You could buy the oyster bracelet model and get a 1/2 link, or get an older president bracelet with clasp to be able to adjust it (mine below)
