Have you made any progress in evaluating the 'piece'?

How about you put the watch on the hearth of a fireplace of someone who can authenticate the watch. Thanks

Just what the hell is going on here? Do you have this ultra rare watch, or don't you? Are you so wealthy that you're not bothered about whether it is real on not?

What a ride.

I was going to say what a crock of b****** but you never know; it's a crazy world.

I know if I had bought a potential $250,000.00 watch for $350.00 ...

I would not let the DAY pass without authenticating it.

I wonder how many members or lurkers have contacted the OP with offers?

Western Union anyone?

I'm not in a rush to have it authenticated. If it is real, that's when the problems begin for me. I want to get the best price and how todo that is rather overwhelming. When I talked to Andrew S., he was negative with an auction house. So I hope u all understand why I'm not running to find out. I know I sound pretty presumptuous, but o, pretty sure that it is authentic.

And it's still in the safe deposit box.

So. You are "pretty sure" that it is real, are you? Pretty sure won't do I'm afraid. Get it looked at, and put us out of our misery!

As much as we would all love for this story to be real, it seems to have taken on the flavor of a fairy tale. It makes for interesting reading, and it has stimulated much discussion and conjecture, however I get the disturbing feeling that we've been had.

Maybe I am wrong and the watch will show up as real in the upcoming weeks, sported by the Easter Bunny.

My heart hopes it's all true, however my mind tells me it's hogwash.

IMHO

Send me a PM when you've had it authenticated by Sheartime or someone else with a decent reputation.

In the meantime you have a fake/real Vintage Rolex in a safety deposit box and you're in no rush to find out whether it is worth $50 or $250,000.00

Yeah, sure.

CLOSED.
