Presidential - 70's

Just a short question.

If you check my posts you will know that I have 6 Rolex's and my wife has 2 -Plus numerous other quality watches.

I have just inherited a Presidential, roman number numbers from my father and I wish to donate it to a charity.

Does anyone know the approximate price of this watch, so I can give the church a number to put on the donation certificate?

Is it real............yes. I have the receipt from Rolex for $3300 plus 3 extra links @ $180.00 per link.

Thanks for the help.

H

You can always donate it to the "GetMonBKaDD" foundation.

Why not sell it and donate the cash you receive to charity? I will be easier for the charity since thery will not have to sell the watch.

That's a good idea.

Your good deed could easily be short-circuited by a well-meaning person who knows nothing about Rolex watches. How would you feel if it ended up being sold for $500 (or traded for hair extensions!)?

Sell it here on TRF and you will know it is going to an enthusiast and you will be getting a fair price to donate to your charity; a win-win-win if I ever heard of one!

Because when you donate you can get a $10,000 write off (receipt) for a $5,000 watch.
