Rolex Prince Observatory ?

Hi,

I am new to this forum. I've inherited a watch that I belive is a 1932 Prince Observatory. I have searched the web for a picture, and this forum and found very very little on this watch. It is all most exactly the same as the attached picture that I found on the web. This watch is a 10 and mine is about a 2. I sent it to Rolex Watch USA Inc in Dallas to be repaired, and they returned it stating "returned as received". At the bottom of the invoice, they state that "the addition of non-genuine parts to any Rolex watch renders it a conterfeit as defined by public law". I still don't know if it is real or not, and really don't know much about it after searching and searching. I believe it was manufactured in the early 1930's. I am wondering if it is worth fixing, and if it has any value. Can any one help identify the watch?

Thanks,

Greg

Hi Greg.

It is almost impossible to comment with out better pics of the case , dial and movement but if Rolex USA says that non original parts are in your watch , that does not bode well.

Most Princes I come across are either redone or fake cases!

Pictures would be a great help

Regards

Julian

Thanks for the feedback. Here are a couple of pictures.

Any additional information, year, model, or thoughts about this watch would be appreciated.

Thanks - Greg
