Need help making 16800 buy tomorrow!

Guys,
I'm in a quandry with my final decision. Today a friend that I get my watches from sometimes showed me a really clean and thick cased 16800 matte dial on a near mint complete link 9315 folded bracelet with 380 ends. In return I am offering up a two tone 1601 head, a 1970 Speedmaster, Rolex USA jubilee and $1100 cash. Let's say I have around $3K in trade stuffs not counting the cash. The 16800 looks really really clean and all tritium matches. Should I go for it or keep looking? I asked him to see if he can throw in a Rolex box and he said he might have a 90s box he can give me. I had a nice 16800 before, but this one blows that one out of the water as well as this one's case is definitely not over polished at all. Oh, and I took a 93150 with 580 ends off my ND sub and was thinking to swap it to this 16800 if I buy. My sub is from 77 so I thought the 9315 stamped with code C would be a better combo for that watch. Now will the 580 ends fit the 16800??
Thanks for your help
Gerard

Yes the 580 ends will fit the 16800 no problem. Sounds like a good deal, and a good plan to swap the bracelets around. Post some pics after you get it!

Thanks for the support guys.
I will check back before I go meet my friend to see what more members might add to this thread. I hope they do. And Feilong thanks for the photo. The one I plan to see again is a 7.1 million serial, whick is near the age of your cool looking 16800

Okay so I made the deal and I am happy with the whole thing. I took off the 9315 with 380 ends and put it on the 5513 (now it looks and feels so period correct), then until I get the correct 593 ends for my 93150, I put the 16800 on a real Tropic black strap for now. I can make fast pictures now or nice ones later when I have time. I'm thinking best of the latter. This 16800 is remarkably super clean with intact, even, light cream tritium all around, even to the dot sitting in the insert cup. Dial is excellent as well as hands with zero corrosion anywhere. The crown guards are nice and thick like from the factory and if it was polished in its life, I don't think it was done more than once(okay, maybe twice, but professionally and minimally). The selling point to me is a thick case
The sapphire crystal is like new and the crown is smooth with three turns til stopping to close. Bezel is buttery smooth with 120 clicks in one direction. Basically it's the 16800 I wanted since I ever owned one in the past and in a nutshell, it's a keeper for the collection.
Thanks to you that gave me the positive to go ahead with the deal!

I finally got to home to show the picture I made at work using my cell phones camera, and I found I had to wait even longer to post it due to the site was being updated! Anyway, here is a pic I made because I couldn't wait to get opinions from you guys before I find time to make high res ones later. Ignore the marks on crystal(dirt from work) What do you think? Keeps excellent time to boot!

The perfect Sub. Vintage dial with saphire glass. Wear it any day, every day.
Somehow it looks better on a non-oyster band.

And, wait 2 days for the open 6. That will make your day!

Thanks. I feel that it does look better on this strap too. I still have the 93150 to install once I get the correct end-links, but I may just keep the watch as is for awhile. To me it looks more unique with the tropic for now.

Thanks. I believe there are several possibilities with the history of the watch. One idea is it was serviced regularly and it may have had a service when tritium hands were still available. Or the prior owner sourced NOS tritium hands. Or the watch was not worn regularly and kept clean and dry with careful services. I really have no clue why the hands are so corrosion free except for these ideas. I also noted how much blacker the whole dial is over all the other 16800's I've held or saw pics of.The font on dial is clear and bright too. I'm beyond happy with it I love it!

Thank you. But now after seeing Newsboy's photo of the 16800 on bracelet, I'm swayed to put mine on one now I had this tropic in the drawer for a couple years and always intended it for one of my subs but always went with their oyster bands in the end. This 16800 is the first of all my subs that looks cool on the tropic. I don't know why that is; maybe the combination of vintage matte and new case/crystal designs? It just seems to work best strapped to this 16800 in my eyes. The oysters, like on Newsboys and Ross' pieces give the watch a more classic cue and they present robust yet still charming
