Rolex /Tudor 9315 Bracelets confused

In my search for 9315 band parts I've come across several Tudor 18 MM 9315 Bracelets w 383b ends. I've seen them selling separately and on mid size 75090 Tudor Subs. I thought all 9315 Rolex or Tudor bracelets were for 20 MM lug Subs and if not how can you be sure which one is 18mm or 20mm?

So two different lug widths same band number not confusing at all

It looks like to me they removed the first three links of the 9315 20mm bracelet to modify it to be able to fit 18 mm lugs, but seems strange to give it the same part number does it not?
