Wow! Awesome photo as always Chip! It's a real skill you've got there...and great taste in watches too
Gotta love the old polaroids for sheer vintage appeal. Now, call this a big co-incidence, but it appears that great minds think alike...I did this one a little while ago, and I hope it's ok by you to post it here, I don't want to hijack, it just seemed strangely approriate.

Otis:
What hijacking!!!???!!! Your shot is great dude! How can I complain and be a cry baby when you show a pic like that!!! There are three cams in that shot, even though only the polaroid is visible. There is also a Kodak and a Sears camera. Bought all three of them for 5 bucks I think at a garage sale. CJ: Thanks for the kind words my friend!

I picked up the land camera for about 20$, don't even know if it's worth that, but I just love the look of the thing. I'm actually pretty surprised by the quality of the shots from my little point & shoot digi, but I really miss having proper aperture and focus controls on it. I'm also too impatient to shoot watches on film! Can't wait to try out the new Sony Alpha when it comes out, they do make great sensors and I'll be able to use all my minolta lenses. I think I saw somewhere that you use a D50? How do you find it? Played with my bosses D70 a bit, and I'm almost tempted to convert to Nikon....

Great pics, guys. Interesting how you both picked similar scenarios for similar watches. But neither is a a copy of the other. Good show.
