New Submersible Packaging?

Hi All,

I hope this is the appropriate forum to post this question on.

I'm about to pull the trigger on a new PAM 00682 but have a packaging question for anyone whom has any info.

Do all new submersibles come with the new plastic boxes or is the plastic only for certian submersibles? Some info says it's for all but the seller I was talking to says no, 682 comes with the old style Pear wood only.

Any help or info would be greatly appreciated!
